A series of compositions in response to "What Is Who", a poetry collection by Biscuits Calhoun (Tyler Gobble)
I wrote a series of pieces in response to this incredible work by Tyler. I was lucky enough to get one of the limited edition run of 75, which has since sold out -- you can read them all online as PDFs though.
The music I've written is meant to be brushstrokes of feelings that happened to me when I read a given poem for the first time. They are not representative of the poems, and they're not meant to "describe" them in any way.
Tyler set up this "barter system" where you could trade something of your own for a copy of the books -- I bought them and also told him i would write something inspired by the work. In the end, I gave all these pieces to Tyler on a cassette and he listens to them in his van.
I hope you enjoy listening to them.
